About Glee Factor’s Founder

Nogol Madani is a leader, speaker, expert, facilitator and founder on a mission to reshape the way we work through people-powered leadership.

Originally from Iran, Nogol grew up in a family of engineers and entrepreneurs who instilled in her a strong sense of purpose and community.

After moving to Canada to pursue a Master of Engineering at McGill University, she navigated the challenges of being an immigrant woman of color in a male-dominated field. Despite excelling in her engineering roles, Nogol realized that many teams were not unlocking human potential, they were stifling it.

The Spark

Experiencing firsthand the profound impact that leaders have on a team’s culture and employee well-being, she embarked on a quest to discover how work environments could truly help people thrive.

It led her to the emerging field of psychological safety in the workplace, a concept that aligned deeply with her vision for the future of work.

In 2017, Nogol founded Glee Factor, a company dedicated to helping leaders of small and medium-sized businesses develop the knowledge and skills to build high-performing and inclusive teams through psychological safety.

Working alongside researchers, facilitators, and learning experts, Nogol developed a unique approach to help leaders transform their team dynamics.

The Methodology

Glee Factor’s methodology blends collaborative study, experimentation, co-development, and practical integration. This approach led to the creation of offerings like the TeamDynamics™ Assessment, I+3C Index™ and the CultureCamp™ Team Transformation Journey.

Through Glee Factor, Nogol has earned the trust of organizations such as Google, SAP, Rio Tinto, BeaverTails, C2 Montreal, Desjardins, PhysioExtra and more, helping leaders discover how they can uncover blind spots and develop team dynamics to enhance collaboration and unlock the full potential of their teams.

Purpose & Impact

Nogol’s commitment to leadership extends beyond her work with Glee Factor’s clients.

She is a board member at YES Employment + Entrepreneurship, an expert trainer at Formation Infopresse, and a faculty member at the McGill Executive Institute, where she shares her expertise on leadership and team culture transformation.

From her journey as an immigrant to Canada to becoming a sought-after leader in her field, Nogol's story is a powerful testament to resilience, reinvention, and the belief that work should be a source of joymeaning, and connection, and that each of us has the ability to transform our own lives and those of the teams we lead.

I believe that in the 21st century, organizations have the power to transform lives — not just through what they create, but through how they lead their people.

When individuals feel seen, heard, and supported, they perform at their best. These high performers become gleeful parents and engaged citizens. This is how businesses succeed, families grow stronger, and societies thrive. Building vibrant teams and fulfilled employees isn’t just an aspiration; it’s a responsibility every leader must embrace. I am committed to supporting leaders in turning this vision into reality, every step of the way.”
